Our Word for the Year

As we step into this year, our focus as a church is simple and intentional: Seek First. Our theme verse is Matthew 6:33:
“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.”

This verse sets the foundation for how we want to live—putting God first in every area of our lives and trusting Him with everything else. As we seek Him first, we believe God will bring clarity, peace, provision, and purpose into every part of our lives.

One-Year Bible Journal

To help you live out this focus, we invite you to download our One-Year Bible Journal. This journal is designed to help you stay consistent in God’s Word, create daily rhythms of prayer and reflection, and intentionally seek God throughout the year.

Whether you’re new to reading the Bible or have been walking with God for years, this journal is a simple and powerful tool to help you grow closer to Him. As a church, we’ll be using this journal together—allowing Scripture to shape our hearts as we seek God first, day by day.

21 Days of Prayer

At Freedom Life Church, we believe everything changes when we seek God first. That’s why twice a year—in January and August—we come together as a church family for 21 Days of Prayer, believing God to move in powerful ways in our lives, our church, and our city. Each January, we enter a season of prayer and fasting, intentionally setting aside distractions and comforts to focus our hearts on God. Fasting helps us realign our priorities, quiet the noise, and depend fully on Him.

If you’re believing God for more—more clarity, more peace, more breakthrough—21 Days of Prayer is for you. When we choose to put God first, He meets us right where we are and begins to work in ways only He can. As we pray together, you’ll see God move in your relationships, your family, your work, and every area of your life.
